Congratulations, Juan Pedro Escamilla, Dominican University Class Of 2021
Before this year's graduates head on to that next step in their lives, we want to take a moment to let their stars shine here on Patch.
ALSIP-CRESTWOOD, IL — The high school seniors of 2021 have had an experience like no other in a century -- a year upended by a pandemic and by lockdowns that kept them from enjoying many of the activities that previous seniors have taken for granted.
Patch hopes to help make it up to those seniors by giving them a special sendoff. We asked parents and other family members pay tribute to this year’s grads using a special submission form so we can publish those tributes one by one.
Juan Pedro Escamilla will graduate from Dominican University.

Accomplishments: Honors Society, Graduate in sociology and criminology, played baseball with the Dominican STARS baseball team.
Special message: To my grandson/nephew JP, we are very proud of you and your accomplishments thus far. There are still more goals to attain. May God be with you and guide you during your next adventures and careers. All our love, Abuela and Tia Pati
