CRESTWOOD, IL — Friends are rallying to support Crestwood hockey parents, Amy and Chris Cimoch, who are recovering from COVID-19. Amy remains hospitalized while Chris quarantines at home. This unfortunate situation has left them with personal hardship no family should bear.

The Cimochs are a well known local hockey family. Their sons, Christopher and Jeremey, went to St. Rita pf Cascia High School, where they played for the Mustangs' hockey team. The Cimochs’ hockey family have set up a GoFundMe campaign and are asking for donations to tide Amy and Chris over until they get back on their feet.

Chris is a Marine veteran. Chris and his sons all coach in local hockey leagues. The Cimochs have lived in Crestwood for over 30 years.

“The Cimochs are always there for everyone, and now we need to be there for them,” said Cristina Walker, one of the campaign organizers. “They have been close friends of the Walker family for over 28 years. We love and care for them very much. I’m sure their hockey family can say the same.”

The Cimochs’ hockey family is trying to raise $15,000 to help them with the bills and mortgage. To make a donation visit Care4Cimochs.
