Lawn Mower Looters Nabbed In Alsip: Police
Three people who broke into a lawn mower repair shop was the only looting incident reported in Alsip, police said.
ALSIP, IL — Alsip police arrested a suspect when he and two others tried to break into a lawn mower repair shop Sunday afternoon, policee announced.
Around 4 p.m. officers responded to a burglary in progress at Alsip Lawn Mower Repair, 11550 S. Pulaski Road. Police said three people tried to break into the shop. One suspect was immediately taken into custody. The other two fled on foot and were apprehended in nearby neighborhoods. All three suspects are now in custody, police said.
As of Sunday evening, police said this was the only incident of looting reported in Alsip. A video of the arrest was posted on the Alsip Community Watch Facebook page.
