Learn Closer To Home At MVCC's Blue Island And Tinley Campuses

BLUE ISLAND-TINLEY PARK, IL — Learn more and travel less this spring at Moraine Valley Community College by taking classes at one of its extension sites — Southwest Education Center (SWEC), 17900 S. 94th Ave., in Tinley Park, and the Education Center at Blue Island (ECBI), 12940 S. Western Ave.

Some credit classes include Art Appreciation, Composition I and II, Intro to Criminal Justice, Western Civilization I, Western Humanities I: Foundations, Microsoft Office, Probability and Statistics, Introduction to Psychology and Film Appreciation. Several noncredit classes offered at SWEC include 50 Plus Computer Basics, Medicare Workshop, Tai Chi I/Qi Gong I, Yoga I, Conversational Italian-Beginning, Conversational Spanish-Beginning, and Smartphone Photography. ECBI noncredit classes include Conversational Spanish-Beginning and CPR for Health Professionals.

A complete list of credit and non-credit classes can be found in the spring 2020 class schedule. Registration is ongoing. Tuition is $128 per credit hour plus fees and books. New students must complete an admission application, and then can register in the Registration Office, located on campus in the Student Services Center (Building S), 9000 W.
