Pedestrian Killed on I-294; Death Ruled Accidental
The accident happened Saturday morning.
A person on foot was struck and killed on Interstate 294 near 135th Street in the south suburbs Saturday morning. The death was ruled accidental following an autopsy on Sunday. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at 9:30 a.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. The victim's name has not yet been released.
