Playfield Park In Crestwood To Close For A Few Weeks

CRESTWOOD, IL — Renovations are underway at Playfield Park in Crestwood, which the village says will be closed for anywhere from 4-6 weeks depending on weather as a new and improved park is installed.

"We are very excited to announce the coming of an updated, awesome, park," the village of Crestwood wrote in a Facebook post.

Improvements will include new equipment and a rubber-based mat.

A look at the site on Saturday shows ground has been broken, but the old equipment remains in place.
