Residents Still Have Time To Take The Alsip Police Annual Survey
Alsip police want to know how they're doing and what they can do better. The last day to take the online survey is Friday, Jan. 15.

ALSIP, IL — Alsip residents and businesses have until the end of this week to weigh in on service provided by the Alsip Police Department. The police department’s annual 2020 survey will close on Friday, Jan. 15.
The survey asks such questions as how many times residents and businesses have called for service, their personal interactions with officers, and quality of life issues in their neighborhood, including junked cars, juvenile problems and crime.
Alsip police also remind residents and businesses to sign up to receive emergency alerts on Smart911.com. Since more than 80 percent of 911 calls are made from mobile phones, Smart911 can help residents and their families get help faster through its Safety Profile feature. The profile allows users to pre-fill emergency information, such as names, vehicles, addresses, etc. The pre-filled Safety Profile pops up whenever a call is placed to 911, reducing the time it takes to get first responders the information they need.
