Santa Claus Is Still Coming To Crestwood For Cookies and Photos

Families can register for 45-minute time slots on Dec. 12 at the Crestwood Rec Center for pictures with Santa, games and refreshments.

CRESTWOOD, IL — The Crestwood Wellness and Recreation Center will be turned into a veritable winter wonderland on Dec. 12 when Santa Claus officially comes to town. Families can sign up for a 45-mimnute between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. for pictures with Santa. This event is for Crestwood residents only.

All activities will take place outdoors in the parking lot at the CRWC, 5331 W. 135th St., Crestwood. Two tents will be set up for cookies, juice and hot cocoa. Kids can also drop off their letters to Santa, which the Jolly Old Elf will whisk away with him to the North Pole. Sixteen decorated trees that have been entered in the tree-trimming contest will be on display.

Due to COVID-19, registration is required for a 45-minute time slot for single households; only two adults per household. Call 708-371-4810 to register. Face masks and social distancing are required.
