Sparks Fly Over Crestwood With Movie, Fireworks At Ozinga Field
Pack a picnic basket and head over to Ozinga Field July 2 for a family flick and fabulous fireworks display in Crestwood.
CRESTWOOD, IL — Watch the night sky light up over Crestwood at Ozinga Field Friday July 2. The Village of Crestwood and Crestwood Recreation Commission are teaming up to present the fifth annual "Sparks In The Park" event. The evening features a screening of a family flick followed by a spectacular fireworks show.
Fans are welcome to walk on to the stadium's synthetic turf field and enjoy a picnic in the park. Gates open at 6 p.m. The new Disney flick, “Raya the Last Dragon,” will be beamed on the Windy City Thunderbolts' video board at 7 p.m. After the film, there will be an awesome firework show will be put on that is sure to amaze.

Outside food and drink are allowed in the ballpark for the event. Fans are asked to help keep the ballpark clean by picking up food and litter and throwing it away, even spilled popcorn. Lawn chairs are allowed on the field, but chairs must have flat rubber bottoms so as not to pierce the turf. This will be strictly enforced. No peanuts or seed products are allowed inside the stadium.
