Spooky Fun At Crestwood's Trunk or Treat, Touch A Truck Bash
The Village of Crestwood is planning a fun day of Halloween activities for kids on Oct. 27.

CRESTWOOD, IL -- Get ready for Crestwood Recreation and Wellness Center’s Halloween Trunk or Treat and Touch-A-Truck bash from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. The afternoon features a costume contest, DJ, games and contests, prizes, candy, bouncy houses and more. The event is FREE for all ages.
Honk and climb aboard a vast array of emergency vehicle, equipment, trucks at Touch-A-Truck. Kids can also make the rounds at trunk or treat. Touch A Truck and Trunk-And-Treat are free. All events take place outside the Crestwood Recreation and Wellness Center, 5331 W. 135th St.
Businesses and organizations are also needed to distribute candy from their vehicles that will be strategically placed around the rec center parking lot. Participation in free. Bring enough wrapped candy, toys and other items for 350 kids. Decorated vehicles are encouraged to add a more festive touch, but not mandatory. Here’s your chance to turn your SUV into a hearse.

Trunk or Treat space is limited so businesses/organizations need to register in advance before Oct. 17.
