STACKED Accepting Applications for New Crestwood Location
Owner is eyeing a late fall opening in Crestwood. Applications being taken now at Oak Lawn STACKED.

CRESTWOOD, IL -- The famed STACKED Pancake House is getting close to opening in Crestwood. Construction on a new, 5,000-square-foot building is currently underway. Owner Tom Demacopoulos is eyeing a late fall opening.
Since STACKED opened in 2011 in Oak Lawn, the restaurant has become one of the most popular breakfast-and-lunch places in the south suburbs. Mayor Lou Presta courted Demacopoulos for two years to bring his gourmet pancake concept to Crestwood.
“God willing, we’re targeting November to open,” Demacopoulos said. “It all depends on construction. We’re getting tables and chairs specially made in North Carolina. We got unique equipment coming in from all over the country.”

“We have the applications ready,” Demacopoulos said. “I’m hoping we’ll get overwhelmed with requests. When we get close to opening, we’ll be calling people to come in for interviews.”
