ThunderBolts Open Home Stand At 100-Percent Seating Capacity

CRESTWOOD, IL — The Windy City ThunderBolts begin their longest home stand of the 2021 season this week at 100-percent seating capacity at Ozinga Field in Crestwood earlier than expected. The ‘Bolts play ten games in nine dates that will run from June 8 through June 13, and June 15 to June 17.

There will be zero social distancing in the seating bowl. Also, fully vaccinated fans (two weeks after their final shot) will not be required to wear face coverings while inside our stadium. Guests who are not fully vaccinated, however, will still be required to wear face coverings while not seated.

All kids run the bases following every home game. Following is the upcoming home stand preview:

June 8 - 10 vs. Southern Illinois Miners
June 11 - 13 vs. Gateway Grizzlies
June 15 - 17 vs. Schaumburg Boomers

Tuesday, June 8 at 7:05 p.m.: Every Tuesday Night is "Value Tuesday" where all box seats in the ballpark and hot dogs cost just $2 (this deal is not valid for 10:35 am morning games),

Wednesday, June 9 at 7:05 p.m.: Every Wednesday is Military Appreciation Day when any veteran or active military member receives two tickets to that day's game. Just walk up to the ballpark box office on the day of any Wednesday home game and show your military ID. Also, on Wednesday nights only, all Seniors 55-years of age and older get a free ticket to that night's game. Senior deal not valid for 10:35 am day games. Night games only. Free senior tickets available on the night of the game at the box office only...just walk up.

Thursday, June 10 at 7:05 p.m.: White Castle Wrestling Thursdays return in 2021. The night starts out with amazing beer specials served all night long, including $1 Retro Beers (Busch, Colt 45, Genesee Cream Ale, Natural Light, Old Milwaukee); $2.25 Bud, Bud Light, Mich Ultra, PBR, Old Style 16 oz cans & draft. Finally, all craft beer selections are just $3.50. (beer specials not valid for 10:35 a.m. games) After the game, Zelo Pro Wrestling performs their fantastic one-hour postgame wrestling show presented by White Castle (no wrestling at 10:35 a.m. day games).

Friday, June 11 at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, June 12 at 6:05 p.m.: The 'Bolts world-famous fireworks are back after every Friday and Saturday night home games. (Theme nights start up in July.)
