Windy City ThunderBolts Open 2019 Season Tuesday At Ozinga Field
The Windy City ThunderBolts open at home after a bumpy road trip this Tuesday, May 14. All home opener seats are $2 at Ozinga Field.

CRESTWOOD, IL -- Let’s go. Batter up. We’re taking the afternoon (or evening) off. The Windy City ThunderBolts open at home this Tuesday, May 14, for a three-game home stand at beautiful Ozinga Field, 14011 S. Kenton Ave., Crestwood. To celebrate the home opener, all box seats are just $2, including group and individual sales in advance or on the day-of-the-game. Of course all kids run the bases after every home game courtesy of In The Game - Hollywood Park, Crestwood.
New manager Brian Smith’s 1-3 ThunderBolts are looking forward to playing before a friendly hometown crowd after a bumpy road trip. The Bolts welcome Frontier League rival the Evansville Otters to Crestwood as they celebrate their 20th anniversary season in 2019 representing the South Side of Chicago.
The ThunderBolts finish out the home stand against the Otters with two special School Day Games on Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 16. School Day Games offer area schools a fun, affordable field trip for students. Games start at 10:35 a.m. Post game, run the bases with Boomer. Book a bus at a special rate through the ThunderBolts for $100. Lower-deck seats for groups of 10 or more are $7, with lunch (hot dog, chips and water) $11. Upper-deck seats are $5, with lunch $9. Other School Day Games are scheduled for May 21, May 22 and May 23.

This year, the Bolts will be adding more fireworks and theme nights for the 2019 season. Come see your favorite characters roaming the concourse at Ozinga Field, 14011 S. Kenton Ave., Crestwood.
