Woman Fatally Struck by Car on I-294 Identified
The victim was a 49-year-old woman from Kentucky.
A female pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle on Interstate 294 a week and a half ago has been identified.
Laura Marie Kimberly, 49, of Versailles, Kentucky, was struck in the southbound lanes near 135th Street on Saturday, Oct. 22. She was pronounced dead at 9:30 a.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center. Her death was ruled an accident.
