That home wound up selling three years later for $17 million, meaning that even if the Lincoln Park mansion sells for half of its asking price, it would still break that record. However, it would not quite hit the record set by the $58.5 million that Chicago's richest man, Ken Griffin, paid for his condo in 2018.
