Blackhawks' Jonathan Toews Buys $6.3M Chicago Condo

Toews' new neighbors include the Cubs' Jason Heyward and Chicago billionaire Ken Griffin.

CHICAGO, IL — Blackhawks center Jonathan Toews bought a new home in the ultra-luxury tower on the Gold Coast, reports say. He paid $6.3 million for the condo at No. 9 Walton, Crain's reported.

Toews' neighbors include Ken Griffin, Illinois' richest billionaire, and Jason Heyward, the Cubs' right fielder. So far in 2018, the condo tower has made 17 property sales of over $4 million, Crain's reported, with the highest being $12.1 million.

Griffin famously bought the top several floors of the tower for a record $58.5 million in November 2017.
