Traded Bulls Guard Jimmy Butler Drops Price Of River North Mansion

CHICAGO, IL — NBA standout Jimmy Butler isn't leaving Chicago with the best of memories. After not meshing with Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg, the shooting guard was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a draft day move that didn't sit well with Butler. Now the three-time All-Star is having trouble unloading his River North mansion.

The 10,000-square-foot home at 456 W. Huron St. was relisted last week for $4.6 million. Butler originally put the six-bedroom residence on the market for $5 million in July after he was traded. He bought the house in September of 2015 for $4.3 million, so he'll still come out ahead if he sells it at the lower price. Interestingly, $4.6 million was the initial list price for the home back in 2015.

Built in 2008, the single family home comes with the type of features you'd hope to find in a mansion that will set you back nearly $5 million.
