HOMER GLEN-LOCKPORT, IL — Before you head to the fireworks show at Dellwood Park on July 3, you'll be happy to know that dry skies are in the forecast.

Friday will have a high of 78, before temperatures start creeping up into the 80s and 90s, according to the weather service. Saturday has a high of 86 degrees, followed by a high of 93 on Sunday and 91 on Monday, according to the weather service.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will warm into the low 90s on Sunday and Monday, with heat index values in the mid-90s.
