5 Things to Do in Homer Glen-Lockport this Week

Coming up this week:

• The Senior Pinochle Club meets from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and Friday at the Gladys Fox Museum, 231 E. 9th St., in Lockport. There is no registration and no fees.

• The Lockport City Council meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

• The PG-rated film "Max" will be screened at the Lockport branch of the White Oak Library District at 2 p.m. Friday. Refreshments and discussion will follow. Registration is required.

• The Homer Township Library Teen Advisory Board presents an Arts & Crafts Vendor Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the library.

• The Homer Glen Junior Woman's Club will host a bingo fundraiser Saturday at the Lockport Moose Lodge at 118 E. 10th St., in Lockport. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and bingo begins at 7 p.m. A $25 donation is requested. There will also be a cash bar and food available for purchase. Must be 18 and older to participate. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy and The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest.
