Closures Planned For Gougar Road
A sanitary sewer will be installed across Gougar Road during the closure.
HOMER GLEN, IL — A segment of Gougar Road will be temporarily closed Jan. 21 through Jan. 25. The village said the closure is part of the Fiddyment Creek Sanitary Sewer project and will allow a sanitary sewer to be installed across Gougar Road. This sewer will temporarily restore the road and permanent restoration will take place in the spring.
Through an agreement with the City of Lockport and the Bonnie Brae Forest Manor Sanitary District, the village said the Fiddyment Creek Sanitary Sewer project will provide sewer service to the area between Cedar and Gougar roads and between 151st and 159th streets. This utility extension helps to ready developable acres within the village of Homer Glen for development.
