Construction On Section Of Route 6 Begins May 4
There has been issues with seasonal flooding on Route 6 so IDOT will widen and raise this section of road to correct and increase drainage.
WILL COUNTY, IL — Construction will start on Route 6 between Haas Road and Spring Meadows Drive on May 4. The village said there has been issues with seasonal flooding on Route 6 so IDOT will widen and raise the road to correct and increase drainage.
Flagger controlled lane closures will begin on May 4. According to the village, a temporary side road will be built and starting in June, the section will be down to one lane for the rest of the construction season in 2020. Traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic lights.
