Crest Hill Woman Killed After Striking Barrier on I-355: Coroner
Zyane Williams, 18, was pronounced deceased at 2:14 a.m. at Silver Cross Hospital Emergency Room in New Lenox.
LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP, IL — A Crest Hill woman has died after her vehicle struck a concrete barrier on I-355 in Lockport Township, the Will County Coroner's Office shared on its Facebook. Zyane Williams, 18, was pronounced deceased at 2:14 a.m. Thursday at Silver Cross Hospital Emergency Room in New Lenox.
According to the coroner's office, Williams was the driver of a car that struck the concrete barrier on I-355 southbound at milepost 4.5.
Illinois State Police District 15 are investigating the crash, and an autopsy will be performed Thursday.
