Homer Glen Holds Annual Coat Drive
Donations are accepted at the Village Hall, 14240 W. 151st St., in the main lobby.
HOMER GLEN, IL — The Village of Homer Glen is holding its annual coat drive until Jan. 3. According to the Village Facebook page, donations are accepted at the Village Hall, 14240 W. 151st St., in the main lobby during regular business hours from 8 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday.
You can donate new and gently used winter coats, scarves and gloves.
Village Manager Karie Friling said the coat drive began in 2018 and was started by Village Trustee Keith Gray. The coat drive is in partnership with The Salvation Army, and donations will be given to them.

Friling said last year's coat drive brought in 10 45-pound garbage bags worth of new and gently used coats.
