Homer Glen Plans 'Homer For The Holidays'

HOMER GLEN, IL — Join the village of Homer Glen at the new holiday event, "Homer For The Holidays." The event, which includes the annual tree lighting ceremony, will be held on Dec. 1 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

According to the village, there are plenty of activities, including: photos with Santa, live music and Christmas carols, holiday arts and crafts, Christmas hayride along Heritage Circle, letters to Santa station, touch-a-firetruck, pet costume holiday photo contest and more.

The village tree has been donated by Homer Glen residents James and Nancy Walker and delivered by Homer Tree Care. The event is free and for all ages, and will be held at Homer Glen Village Hall, 14240 W. 151st St.
