Homer Glen Woman Appointed To Silver Cross Foundation Board
Claudia Aguirre of Homer Glen has joined the Board of Directors for the Silver Cross Foundation.

HOMER GLEN, IL — Claudia Aguirre of Homer Glen has joined the Board of Directors for the Silver Cross Foundation – the nonprofit fundraising arm for Silver Cross Hospital, the hospital said in a release.
“We are delighted that Claudia has chosen to join the Silver Cross Foundation Board,” said Tracy Simons, Executive Director of the Silver Cross Foundation. “With her support and guidance, we will continue to provide needed financial resources to assist the hospital in bringing new and expanded services to our patients and the communities we serve.”
According to a release from the hospital, Aguirre is the global controller for Fluke Health Solutions (FHS), an operating company of Fortive Corporation headquartered in Seattle, Washington. FHS is a leading medical device manufacturer of biomedical test and simulation products for accurate diagnostic imaging, radiation safety, and oncology quality-assurance solutions for regulatory compliance.

Aguirre is a certified public accountant, a Six Sigma Green Belt and bilingual in English and Spanish, a release states. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and is married with two daughters.
Aguirre joins the other members of the Silver Cross Foundation Board of Directors: Ben Benson, Tim Borchert, Ruth Colby, Sonia Coleman, Laura Czerkies, Carolyn Dystrup, Susan Frangella, Lydia Garvey, Judy Hageman, (Treasurer), Stacy Holland (Secretary), Lynne Lichtenaurer, Craig Lyons (Vice Chairman), Kathy Miller, Jim Pitcairn, Val Rand, Mark Stevens (Chairman), and Michele Vana.
