Homer Library Opens Limited Seating, Study Rooms

The community meeting room, the quiet reading room, and the magazine area remain closed to the public.

HOMER GLEN, IL — The Homer Township Public Library has opened limited seating and study rooms within capacity limits, the library shared on its Facebook. The library is currently open six days a week for walk-in visitors, and is open on Sundays for curbside pick-up.

According to the library website, the now-open study rooms have 1-hour time limits and must adhere to social distancing. Masks are required, and the teen room seating is limited to 2 people.

The community meeting room, the quiet reading room, and the magazine area are closed to the public. According to the library, general seating, youth play areas, and youth computers also remain closed. In-person programs have also not yet resumed.
