Lockport Boys Bowling Advances To State Finals

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School varsity boys bowling team will compete at the state finals Jan. 31-Feb. 1 in O'Fallon. The team took fourth place at sectionals with a score of 6,147, the IHSA website states.
The team came in just behind Joliet West and ahead of Plainfield South.
The Lockport team is coached by Ron Davis and assistant coaches Alan Bean and Roger McDaniel. According to the IHSA website, the team roster includes: seniors Ray Bufka and Tim Hoak; juniors Aiden Bean and Jimmy Kontos; sophomores Gavin Gucwa and Xavier Pappas; and freshmen Nate Arient and Jimmy Kontos.
