Lockport Chamber Plans Local Business Promotion

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Chamber of Commerce will hold a Shop Small, Shop Local promotion where shoppers can win cash by shopping at any Chamber member business.

According to a release from the Chamber, it is participating in the American Express Neighborhood Champion program to drive shoppers to local businesses.

Your purchases at Chamber member businesses between Nov. 21 - Nov. 28 could be eligible to win cash prizes. According to the chamber, shoppers can mail a copy of your original receipt to be entered into a drawing.

Purchases made between Nov. 21-27 will receive one entry for every $5 purchase. On Nov. 28, which is Small Business Saturday, every purchase will receive a dollar for dollar entry so if you spend $100, you'll receive 100 entries.

The chamber said first place will win $250; second place $100; and third place $50.

All receipts must be received by Dec. 4. A drawing will be held on Facebook Live, at 8:30 a.m. Dec. 8. You can mail receipts to Lockport Chamber of Commerce; 222 E. 9th St; 3rd Floor; Lockport, IL 60441.
