Lockport Holiday Inn Express & Suites Opening March 1

LOCKPORT, IL — After originally planning to open at the end of 2020, Lockport's first hotel will open March 1. Holiday Inn Express & Suites will open its Lockport location off of I-355 at 16233 W. 159th St.

According to a release from the business, the new hotel is brought to Lockport by Janko Group and will be managed by Janko Hospitality. The hotel features 81 guestrooms and suites, an indoor pool, fitness facility, business and meeting centers, grab-and-go breakfast options and a 24-hour market for guests.

“We’re both excited and honored to be bringing the first hotel to such a warm, friendly town,” Jeanrejibel Valencia, General Manager, said in a release. “Whether visiting family and friends, attending a wedding, travelling for business or otherwise, our team of dedicated professionals is thrilled to welcome guests to enjoy the modern comforts that make our hotel special.”

Room amenities include work stations, flat screen TVs, mini fridges, microwaves, coffee and tea stations, and black out shades, a release states. The hotel is also pet-friendly.

The hotel will also be doing regular deep cleaning with hospital-grade disinfectants, along with face covering requirements and social distancing measures in public spaces.
