Lockport Park District To Celebrate New Year's Eve With Fireworks

LOCKPORT, IL — We all know that ringing in 2021 will look a lot different than it has in years past; however, the Lockport Township Park District isn't going to let the coronavirus pandemic stop it from safely celebrating New Year's Eve.

Guests are invited to help say goodbye to the year that was Thursday at 7 p.m. at Prairie Bluff and Hassert Park parking lots for the Lockport Township Park District’s 10 minute fireworks show!

Enjoy the show from the comfort of your car or right outside your car. Due to the current mitigations, the patio will only be open for bathroom use.

There will be no vendors at this event, according to park district officials.

This is a free event, and no registration or tickets are required. Parking is limited to Prairie Bluff and Hassert Park, which is at 19433 Renwick Rd in Crest Hill.
