Lockport Plans Movie Matinee At Roxy Theater

LOCKPORT, IL — Head out during winter break to see a showing of "Frozen" at the Roxy Theater in Lockport. The city said the Summer Art Series committee will show a movie matinee on Thursday, Dec. 27. The doors will open at 1:30 p.m. with the movie starting at 2 p.m.

According to the city, this is a dress-up event, so children of all ages can dress like their favorite character from "Frozen." Papa Joe's will be selling pizza slices, hot dogs, popcorn, candy, pop and water. There are no outside food or beverages allowed in the theater.

Tickets will not be sold at the door, you must pre-purchase tickets. The theater is located at 1017 S. State St.
