LTHS Board Members Take Seats, Elect Board President
New LTHS Board of Education member Zyan Navarra was seated, as well as incumbents Lou Ann Johnson, Ann Lopez-Caneva and Michael Travis.
LOCKPORT, IL — New LTHS Board of Education member Zyan Navarra was seated at Monday's special meeting, and the board also recognized Lisa Bickus for her eight years of service on the board.
Bickus, who had served as vice president of the board since 2018, did not run for re-election.
In addition to Navarra, incumbent board members Lou Ann Johnson, Ann Lopez-Caneva and Michael Travis were seated.

The board elected Lopez-Caneva to serve as board president, Richard Ives to serve as board vice president and Veronica Shaw to serve as board secretary.
According to board documents, administrative assistant Kathy Maxwell will serve as the board recording secretary and Director of Business Services Stefanie Croix will serve as the board treasurer.
