LTHS Board Recognizes All-State Choir Students, Musicians

Both groups of students were recognized with resolutions from the LTHS board.

LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School Board of Education honored several groups of students at its Monday board meeting, including several students in band and choir who earned all-state honors.

Choir members Ryan Adolf, Michael Albrecht, Ethan Bocatcat, Aidan Callahan, Jersie Joniak, Emilia Jurzyk, Olivia Minogue, Zakari Navarra, Ethan Rudman and Aaron Vales were selected for the all-state honors choir after video submissions, according to board documents.

The board also recognized the Lockport Township High School musicians who were named as all-state musicians, including Michael Albrecht, Melissa Everson, Ryan Adolf, Zakari Navarra, Jersie Joniak, Gabriela Fiedor, Ethan Bocatcat, Aaron Vales, Ethan Rudman, Ethan Kaminsky, Aidan Callahan, Elizabeth Bollinger, Kara Shields, Emilia Jurzyk, Ryan Durbin, Julia Smolinski and Olivia Minogue.

Both groups of students were recognized with resolutions from the LTHS board.

The board also recognized LTHS Illinois State Scholars, and students who competed and won awards at the Illinois Design Education Association state competition and the SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills conference.
