LTHS Hosts Strike Out Cancer Games
In 2018, the games raised $8,000 for the Make Your Mark Foundation.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Lockport Township High School Baseball and Softball Programs will be hosting their annual Strike Out Cancer Games on Saturday, April 27. The school said all money raised during this all-day event is donated to the Make Your Mark- The Mark Staehely Pedriatic Cancer Foundation.
There will be a total of 12 games held at the A-Field Complex located on Garfield and Division in Lockport. According to the school, the LTHS boys baseball freshman, sophomore, JV and varsity teams, as well as the LTHS girls softball freshman, sophomore, and varsity teams will all take part in the event. The teams will face off against Minooka.
In 2018, the games raised $8,000 for the Make Your Mark Foundation. The foundation uses funds to help support the research of pediatric cancer and famillies affected by it.
