In the fall of 2017, Lupine Montessori opened its door on Archer Avenue in Lockport to a small group of 3-6 year old students and families who were looking for an authentic Montessori setting. That small group quickly grew, and now the school is set to open for the coming school year with programs for students ages 3-12. With a beautifully expanded facility and faculty, Lupine will now offer its student driven curriculum and programs to wider audience.
Lupine Montessori School was founded in 2017 by Head of School, Tina Davidson, and a committed group of parents. The school immediately gained momentum, and plans were made for expansion. Joining the faculty this year is veteran Montessori teacher, Dave Chorney who brings a passionate love for the outdoors wherever he goes- a perfect fit for the Lupine mission of sustainability and love of nature.
Conveniently located at 936 State Street in Lockport, Lupine offers easy parking as well as nearly 2 acres of open land for the students to explore and investigate. The natural world and environmental practices are central to the Lupine philosophy. The school will encompass composting, waste free lunches, eco friendly products and materials. Lupine will also offer a host of after school programs, as well as after school care.
