Man Held At Gunpoint In McDonald's Drive-Thru Carjacking: Cops
Two men fled the scene in Homer Glen with the victim's 2020 dark red Dodge Charger.
HOMER GLEN, IL — A man was held at gunpoint during a carjacking while he was in line at the McDonald's drive-thru in Homer Glen, according to the Will County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded at 6:04 p.m. Wednesday to McDonald's, 14298 S. Bell Road, in Homer Glen for a carjacking.
The man told deputies that he was in line at the drive-thru when two men approached him with handguns, police said. They told him to get out of the car, and he did so. The men then fled the scene with the victim's 2020 dark red Dodge Charger.

The victim told police that the two men had jumped out of a black BMW SUV with blacked out windows.
Deputies remained on the scene as they continued to investigate the incident, the sheriff's office said.
