The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Most pressing issue is looking at what our tax dollars are doing for the residents of Homer Township and making the most of our money without raising taxes with the hope of lowering and rebating them.

Do you support Black Lives Matter and what are your thoughts on the demonstrations held since the death of George Floyd and the shooting of Jacob Blake?

N/A

Do you think the current board has done enough to support racial equality, and if not, what specifically should be done to do so?

N/A

What are your thoughts on the national and local coronavirus response? Do you favor measures such as limiting operation of non-essential businesses and restricting indoor/outdoor dining? And do you favor a local mask mandate?

N/A

What are your thoughts on the state and local coronavirus vaccine distribution, and how do you think local governments should work together to handle vaccine rollout?

N/A

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I believe in listening to our residents and taking action.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

After speaking with numerous residents I feel the current board has ignored residents concerns especially in regard to the current condition of the parks and the sports fields.

Additionally, residents are very upset about the lawsuit filed by the Township against the Road District and the Village of Homer Glen. This is a huge waste of taxpayer dollars.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform

Preserving open space
Voter referendums for major Township projects
Addressing lack of services for seniors, children and residents with special needs
Bid out jobs for needed work and services
Properly maintain township buildings and properties

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

When I was on the board previously I did my homework in regard to the issues that I faced and feel that I voted for what was best for all residents.

If you win this position, what accomplishment would make your term in office as a success?

I would like to see yearly tax rebates for all the residents of Homer Township

Why should voters trust you?

Trust has to be earned. I can only ask that the residents of Homer Township give me a chance by voting for me on April 6 so I can prove to them that they can trust me.

What are your views on fiscal policy, government spending and the use of taxpayer dollars in the office you are seeking?

I believe that all government officials should be accountable for their spending and the policies they pass with their boards. All meetings should be videotaped and checkbooks should be posted online so residents can see where their money is being spent.

Is there any reason you would not serve your full term of office, other than those of health or family?

N/A

The best advice ever shared with me was:

N/A

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I look forward to working for our residents and will maintain an open door policy.
