Morris Park Open House Planned At Homer Township
The Morris Park Community Input open house will be held March 31 at Homer Township Town Hall.
HOMER GLEN, IL — The Morris Park Community Input open house will be held March 31 at Homer Township Town Hall, 16057 S. Cedar Road, for area residents who wish to give input on the master plan for the park.
The township said on its website that future enhancements of the park are planned using established capital reserves, park impact contributions and potential grant funding assistance.
Morris Park is one of nine parks that Homer Township owns and maintains. According to the township website, the park has several soccer fields, a fishing pond, a picnic area and playground equipment.

Morris Park is located along 163rd Street, west of Cedar Road.
Homer Township is working with Upland Design to develop a master plan for the park. The township is also collaborating with M/I Homes, Lockport Township Park District, and the City of Lockport.
