Nik And Ivy Brewing Company Opening In Lockport

LOCKPORT, IL — A new brewery will be opening soon in Lockport. Nik & Ivy Brewing Company, 1026 S. State St., is set to open Aug. 28.

Owners Chrissy and Paul Ivnik said the brewery will only be serving beer and some bottled ciders, as well as some appetizer and snack items. 12 beers will be on tap, and most have been brewed on-site, Chrissy told Patch.

Paul grew up in Lockport and always wanted to open a brewery, so the couple and their 2-year-old son moved to Lockport so they could do so.

The brewery will be open from 3 to 11 p.m. on Aug. 28, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Aug. 29 and 1:30 to 8 p.m. on Aug. 30 for its grand opening weekend.
