Ninth Street Scheduled To Close Due To Construction

LOCKPORT, IL — Ninth Street in Lockport will be closed starting Friday night until Monday morning, according to Lockport Police. The closure is due to the construction in downtown Lockport.

Police said the closure begins at 10 p.m. April 27 and ends 5 a.m. April 30. Ninth Street will be closed between State Street and the Canadian National railroad tracks.

All non-truck traffic can use Canal Road as a detour route, which will be marked.
