Kenneth W. Schuchart

Kenneth W. Schuchart, age 57, of Austin, TX and formerly of Lockport, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 11, 2019 at his home. Born on May 15, 1962 in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Charles and Elda (nee Weitendorf) Schuchart. Kenneth worked as a CNC manager for DJO Global in Austin, TX and previously at Modern Drop Forge in Blue Island, IL as a machine shop supervisor and forging consultant for more than 30 years. He was known for his love of motorcycling, drag racing, snowmobiling, and body building.

Kenneth is survived by his three daughters, Amiee Schuchart of Coal City, Ashley Schuchart (Brandon Wielgus) of Shorewood and Angela (Ryan) Anderson of Katy, TX; his grandchildren, Tyler, Olivia and Collin Crockett; brother, Don (Maureen) Schuchart; sister, Leora (the late Robert) Styx; sister-in-law, Deborah Schuchart; and nieces Jennie Altendorf, Jessica Schuchart, Stephanie Schuchart and Brittany Schuchart; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Charles Schuchart.

Visitation for Kenneth W. Schuchart will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Services at 6:00 p.m., at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. As it was Kenneth’s request, cremation rites will be accorded following services.
