LOCKPORT, IL – Both the Lockport Chamber of Commerce Board along with the City of Lockport have decided to move ahead with the scheduling of Lockport Old Canal Days for 2021, the Chamber said in a release.

The summer festival usually features a parade, live music, craft show, family-friendly activities, carnival, food trucks, beer garden, wine tent, bingo and much more.

There will be some changes to this year's festival, as new dates, new event hours and even a new location are expected.

This year's festival is planned for June 10-June 13, instead of the typical event days during Father's Day weekend. The event will also now be moved to the old Chevron property near Second Street and Canal Road, the Chamber said.

Lastly, the entertainment hours will be extended on Sunday, and will also include a fireworks display, sponsored by CITGO. The Lockport Woman’s Club will also now manage the artisan market and craft show and a reverse parade will route down State Street, according to the chamber.
