The Path Ribbon Cutting for the Path is 6pm Wednesday June 23rd

The Pathway from Homer Township’s Sports Complex to Homer Glens Heritage Park has been completed on time to be used for Homer Fest Thanks to efforts of the Township and the Village. The Path is being dedicated to Mike Devivo who designed the plans for the project. Brent Porfilio the Township Road Commissioner to charge of making sure the path would be done before Homer Fest. Mayor Yukich and Supervisor Balich recognized the need for this path and worked together to quickly come up with the agreement that allowed the project to proceed.

This is an example of how the Township and Village will continue to work together to work for what is good for the people. Devivo once said “ why can’t we all just get along”. Now we are dedicating this path to his thought of working together, just getting along.
