Sexual Conduct With Dog: Accused Homer Glen Man Appears In Court

HOMER GLEN, IL — A Homer Glen man accused of having sexual contact with a dog appeared in court on Tuesday. Bryan Buscemi, 41, was booked into the Will County Adult Detention Facility on Monday after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Dec. 3.
According to police, he was charged with sexual conduct with an animal.
Will County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Kathy Hoffmeyer said the incident happened in Homer Glen, but the complaint first came from another suburban police department in July. Buscemi was being questioned by detectives in August about an unrelated incident when he made statements implicating himself to police, who also found explicit images on his phone, Hoffmeyer said.

Sexual conduct with an animal is a class 4 felony, the least severe of all felony charges in Illinois and punishable by a sentence of 1 to 3 years if convicted. Buscemi's bond was set at $50,000, and as of 2 p.m. Tuesday, he remained in custody at Will County Adult Detention Facility. His next court date was not yet listed.
