Shelter in Place 2020 @ Homer Twp. Library

Community Local History Project

The Homer Township Public Library understands the importance of history and documenting this specific period in our history. We are asking all community members to help us record these challenging times and the effects of COVID-19 and Shelter in Place. Submit family and community photos, quarantine recipes, memories and thoughts during these times, and the challenges you faced and met. These first-hand experiences by local residents will become a special part of our local history. The Homer Library will document your submissions to inspire others and offer a historical snapshot of these unprecedented times!

Visit www.homerlibrary.org to get an online Shelter in Place booklet. Within it there are areas to complete for adults, seniors, teen, families, and children. "We hope to capture the unique perspective of community members," notes Director Sheree Kozel-La Ha. "This is a difficult time
and people can share memories and thoughts for how they and their families are getting through it and any strategies that helped them cope."
