Smoothie King Celebrates Opening of New Lockport Store

Smoothie King, the world’s leading smoothie brand committed to inspiring guests to live healthy, active lifestyles, has opened its new Lockport location on September 18. The new store, located at 16447 W. 159th St., is owned and operated by Theo Yancy.

As an Army veteran, Yancy was first introduced to Smoothie King, as most do, as a customer. While many people say that Smoothie King’s delicious smoothies and menu items draw them in, it was actually the company’s mission that made Yancy want to be a part of Smoothie King. This is Yancy’s first location, with potential plans to open more locations in the southwest suburbs in 2021.

As part of its vision to be an integral part of every health and fitness journey, Smoothie King’s diverse menu features 70 purposefully-blended smoothies tailored to each guest’s needs – all of which fit into one of four purpose categories: Fitness, Slim, Wellness and Break Time.

Hours of operation will be Monday – Friday 7 a.m. – 9 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. – 9 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
