The Open Bottle Opening Location In Lockport
The Open Bottle is planning on breaking ground in a few weeks, and hopes to open by January 2021.
LOCKPORT, IL — The Open Bottle, a craft beer shop and tap room, has announced it will open a new location in Lockport at 16437 W. 159th St. The Open Bottle first opened in 2015, and its first location is in Tinley Park.
According to a blog post from the business, Lockport first came across its radar in 2017, when they heard about Lockport Square, a development near Interstate 355 and 159th St. In February, the business met with the City of Lockport to discuss opening in Lockport.
"Our goal was to start the process shortly after and open by June," the business, which is owned by Patrick and Julia Bisch, wrote on its website.

The coronavirus pandemic affected their plans, and the second location was put on hold while the business adjusted operations for its shop and online curbside pick-up.
Julia told Patch the space in Lockport was an "ideal location for us as it was right off I-355 making it easily accessible to not only the citizens of Lockport, but nearby cities."
