Volunteers Still Needed For HomerFest

HOMER GLEN, IL — Volunteers are still needed for Homer Glen's HomerFest, which will be held June 24-June 27 at Heritage Park, 14240 W. 151st St.

Volunteers are still needed for specific shifts of 7 p.m. to midnight on June 25, 5 p.m. to midnight on June 26 and 1 to 7 p.m. on June 27.

The annual festival returns for 2021 after it was canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. HomerFest features food, live music, carnival, fireworks show, and more.

Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, according to the village website. Younger volunteers will clean tables or assist adult volunteers at the information booth; adult volunteers may be assigned to checking IDs at the information booth or helping in the beer tent.
