LOCKPORT, IL — The White Oak Library District, which has branches in Lockport, Romeoville and Crest Hill, will start its summer reading challenge on June 7. The challenge, "Reading Colors Your World," will run from June 7 to July 31, according to a release from the library.

The summer reading challenge will include programs for all ages, which will explore humanity, nature, culture, science and show how libraries and reading can expand your world, the library said.

The library will also have incentives to keep reading, including collecting reading badges, attending outdoor activities, creating artwork and entering drawings to win gift baskets.
