Winter Reading Challenge Begins At Homer Library

HOMER GLEN, IL — Get reading this winter at the Homer Township Public Library's Winter Reading Club. The reading challenge, "Reading is my Superpower," starts Feb. 2 and ends March 5.

The winter reading kick-off will be held Feb. 2 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event is for all ages and features children's authors Barbara Berg-Mies, Amy Logan and Garret Rhea. According to the library, you will also be able to meet firefighters, police officers and more. There will be a prize drawing, crafts, refreshments and more.
